But this definitely is a funny reflection of why I am continually skirting around the truth and trying to find ways to explain away my plot line and the reasons why no one will ever read my novel: I hate those "knowing" looks people get and you can just see them thinking, "Oh poor Angela! She must have been raped and beaten and sliced and must be paranoiacally (<-- is that a word?) depressed! This must just be the only way she knows to express her pain!" *gags* Oh please. Spare me the drama, okay? I just happen to be fascinated with evil, insanity, and the many -sometimes dark but not always- recesses of the human mind. *points and scowls* What are you fascinated with? Cheerleading?]
